WINE ESTATE VISIT, VINEYARD TOUR

Several wonderful wine estates await their guests in the wine region. Tasting, cellar tour and presentation of winemaking are also part of the programs. Besides that, we organize vineyard tours on the wine estate or separate vineyards, on off-road terrain. Sometimes we stop to admire the landscape, when the basket with the „picnic set” appears, naturally containing the characteristic wine of the landscape unit. A pleasant and adventurous vineyard safari is also available in our offer.

UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE CELLARS

Within the Tokaj-Hegyalja region, which has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, 6 World Heritage objects are named. In the last 2 centuries, a unique cellar world that cannot be compared to other wine regions of the world has developed in Tokaj-Hegyalja. The wineries consciously dug, continued to build and developed the cellars so that they no longer only function as a home for the wines, but wine tastings and dinners can be organized, and we even organize games in the kilometer-long cellars.

FOOD AND ACCOMMODATION

Catering is part of the daily programs, within the framework of which we can provide all three main meals with the help of the excellent Hegyalja chefs. Finger food, gourmet dishes, home-made flavors – everything can be found in our offer! And, of course, we also take care of vegetarians, vegans, gluten or other sensitive people. In terms of accommodation, just like meals, we can meet all your needs in terms of location, catering, preferred environment or even budget. The region abounds in guesthouses that strengthen village tourism, but castle hotels and 5-star hotels equipped with excellent wellness departments are also available for Tokaj-Hegyaljára Travelers.

TRADITIONAL PROGRAMS

There is no classic industrial production in the wine region, but at the same time, several great products are produced in the region, which are popular not only in Hungary but also abroad. Such are the wine barrels made by local coopers, Szerencsi Csokoládé, which has been popular for decades, or Hélia-D cosmetics. The artisan producers of Tokaj-Hegyalja produce high-quality delicacies: fruit juice, syrup, honey, jam, cheese, apple or wine vinegar – all of these can be found on the „menu” of the region! But what is even more important is that not only can they be purchased, but the producers also allow a small insight into their world and the details of their craft. In addition, river cruises can be considered a local program. The Bodrog and Tisza rivers are also easily navigable in the summer, so several river programs await tourists.

TRAVEL ARRANGEMENT

We provide a private transfer from Budapest or any settlement in Tokaj-Hegyalja to the locations of the compiled program package by car or by small and large buses. If transport between locations is only required locally, it can also be solved with the help of our local passenger transport contractor partners.

CULTURAL PROGRAMS

The 27 locations of the Tokaj-Hegyalja region are rich in castles and fortresses. For those interested in history, it is very interesting to visit as many of these as possible, to learn about their origin and history and, in many cases, to discover the connection between each building. Nowadays, quite a few castles also function as high-quality lodgings, which allows you to combine the experience of history and relaxation in a special environment.

SICILIAN WINES

Our basic mission is to introduce the Tokaj wine region, but we can also serve Sicilian wines with similar characteristics. Especially the wines of the Tasca d’Almerita winery, as guest wines for those who want rosé or red wine, since red grapes and wine made from them are not grown in the Tokaj wine region .
We only distribute Tasca wines made from grape varieties that are not grown in Hungary, which the local wineries cannot produce, so we do not create competition for them.

ADVENTURE TOURS

Swing, bobsleigh, climbing wall, adventure trails, ropeway, all in one place: in the Zemplén Adventure Park!
Physical excerise, adrenaline and a beautiful environment are what the Adventure Park offers.
The all-day program can of course be combined with accommodation, wine tasting, dining and other program options!

CLUB CELLAR

The first and so far the only cellar club in the region, Club WinoriuM, operates in Szerencs at the gate of Tokaj-Hegyalja.

It is only available for closed events, which usually offer a half- or full-day fun in conjunction with a vineyard safari.
The gastronomic experience is guaranteed by the consumption of local show kitchen or finger food-type dishes, and the unique flavors of the wine cocktails made from local wines that the club has introduced to the Tokaj wine region.
Discussions, meetings, and presentations can also be held in the club, as well as the possibility of playing darts and quizzes.
